On April 16th, 2009, Julianne Moore and Jim Gold hosted a dinner in honor of Tomas Maier of Mamie’s new film, the Ang Lee-directed “Taking Woodstock” is among the world premieres of this year’s Cannes Film Festival. Among the festival highlights are Quentin Tarantino’s “Inglourious Basterds” starring Brad Pitt, “Looking for Eric” by Ken Loach, Michael Hanekes “Das Weisse Band” starring Susanne Lothar and “Bright Star” by Jane Campion. No word so far who of Lee’s “Woodstock” cast, including Demetri Martin, Emile Hirsch, Liev Schrieber and Mamie Gummer, will be attneding the festival when it opens on May 13.
