Finally some news regarding Mamie – according to the New York Daily News, she’s shooting a pilot for a Lifetime series “Modern Love” on the streets of New York. Eric Stoltz plays the science editor of the New York Times who gets assigned to edit the “Modern Love” column while dealing with his problematic marriage. If the pilot’s any good and gets picked up, we’ll find out. Like Stoltz, castmembers Ally Sheedy, Mamie Gummer and Alice Ripley have all get NY stage cred, so fingers crossed.
