Season 01 Episode 13: Bad (original airdate: July 21, 2010)
Alicia is second chair to Will on the Colin Sweeney civil suit case. Sweeney was found not guilty of murdering his wife,
Carolyn, but like OJ Simpson, the general public believes he’s responsible for her death including Charlotte, Carolyn’s
daughter, who has brought the civil suit against Sweeney in the hopes of regaining her mother’s money and company. Will
and Alicia are up against Nancy Crozier (Mamie Gummer), who plays up her rehearsed inexperience which wins favor with the judge in the
beginning. As the trial plays out, evidence of a dummy corporation created by Charlotte is found by Cary, which was taking
money from Carolyn’s company and putting into a bank account only Charlotte had access to. When some of Carolyn’s body is
found in the courtyard of the building Colin and Carolyn used to live in, Kalinda discovers that the remains were first
buried on farmland owned by Charlotte. When the rest of Carolyn’s remains are found on Charlotte’s farmland, she is
arrested for her mother’s murder. When Diane’s life is threatened by an inmate who is about to be paroled, she asks
Kalinda for help in obtaining a gun. On the personal front, Peter’s appeal for a retrial gains momentum. Childs offers
Peter a deal: immediate release with time served. We end the show with Peter considering Child’s offer.
Season 02 Episode 04: Cleaning House (original airdate: April 01, 2011)
Alicia once again faces the impossibly sweet young Nancy Crozier, only this time she’s our co-counsel and – supposedly –
on the same side of the case. Although Alicia’s prepared for her innocent-with-a-dagger routine, we initially think it
can work toward our common goal: defending our linked clients in a civil suit. But when Nancy proves as dangerous as the
opposition, Alicia fights on two fronts and ultimately out-maneuvers her to protect her client. Meanwhile, when a bombshell
drops in the Childs campaign, Alicia is implicated in an ethics scandal. If Alicia is proven to be the source of the
leak, it’s not only a blow to the Florrick campaign, but she could be disbarred. Could Childs have leaked the information
to get revenge on Alicia? Peter and Eli race to clear Alicia’s name, but when they learn that Childs is innocent, they
realize another agenda is at play. A third candidate is setting the stage to enter the State’s Attorney race. Now the
question is: who is it?
Season 02 Episode 22: Getting Off (original airdate: August 10, 2011)
Lockhart/Gardner defends the operator of an adultery website against doe-eyed prosecutor Nancy Crozier. Feeling that
Alicia's story helps the client seem more sympathetic, Will makes her first chair. But what seems like a simple civil
case turns criminal when Crozier works with Cary to pin a murder on L/G's client as well.
Season 03 Episode 16: After the Fall (original airdate: March 04, 2012)
Alicia's defense client is a documentary filmmaker accused of being the one responsible for a college girl's suicide. Will
continues to serve his suspension at home with his two sisters keeping watch. Peter's campaign struggles when he realizes
he has lost allies after hiring others based on merit only.
