Mamie Gummer returns to “The Good Wife”

Fantastic news coming from The Huffington Post. Mamie Gummer is returning to “The Good Wife.” The recurring guest star will appear in an upcoming episode of the hit legal drama, Robert and Michelle King, “Good Wife” co-creators and executive producers, confirmed. “We’re thrilled to be facing off against Mamie Gummer’s Nancy Crozier again,” the Kings said in a statement. “This time she’s representing the family of a suicide victim against Lockhart/Gardner when Alicia thinks to out-blonde her by bringing Caitlin (Anna Camp) onto the team.” Gummer has appeared on “The Good Wife” three other times as the cunning Nancy Crozier.

Casting Update for Red Bull Theater’s Henry VI

Updated casting has been announced for Red Bull Theater’s offering of Pirandello’s Henry IV, in a new version by Tom Stoppard, on Monday, January 9, at 7:30pm at Playwrights Horizons Mainstage Theatre. Tony Award winner Jack O’Brien will direct this presentation, which is part of the company’s Revelation Readings series. Patrick Page will star in the title role, with the cast also including Richard Easton, Jennifer Ehle, John Elison Conlee, Victor Garber, Darren Goldstein, Mamie Gummer, Aaron Krohn, Daniel Stewart Sherman, Benjamin Walker, and Paxton Whitehead.

Mamie Gummer to participate in Red Bull Readings

According to Theater Mania, Richard Easton, Jennifer Ehle, Victor Garber, Hamish Linklater, Mamie Gummer, Patrick Page, and Michael Stuhlbarg will be featured in Pirandello’s Henry IV, in a new version by Tom Stoppard, on Monday January 9, at 7:30pm. Jack O’Brien will direct this haunting inquiry into madness. It’s part of a series of presentations in Red Bull Theater’s “Revelation Readings”, which offers one-night-only performances of both neglected classics and new plays of heightened language and classical themes. New Group Lines Up Gummer, Hawke for Dark Nights Series

According to Playbill, Mamie Gummer and Josh Hamilton will take part in “Hamlet at Home,” a presentation of the New Group’s Dark Nights reading series, Dec. 11 at the Acorn Theatre. New Group artistic director Scott Elliott will direct the 7 PM evening that promises scenes from Hamlet. In addition to Gummer (Arcadia) and Hamilton (The Cherry Orchard), the presentation will include Lisa Emery (Sex Lives of Our Parents) and Wallace Shawn (Marie and Bruce). The cast will take part in a discussion following the performance. According to the New Group, “‘Hamlet at Home’ centers around readings of scenes from Shakespeare’s greatest family drama, featuring Hamilton as the prince, Shawn as Claudius and the Ghost, Emery as Gertrude and Gummer as Ophelia… This event is the culmination of an extended actor-driven exploration into the intimate side of the story.” Upcoming Dark Nights events include “Adapting Baal,” which will feature Ethan Hawke, Jonathan Marc Sherman, Shelby & Latham Gaines (Feb. 12, 2012); and “Reflecting Rabe,” exploring the work of playwright David Rabe (April 1, 2012). Mamie Gummer Set To Star In Indie Pic “Claire’s Cambodia”

Article courtesy Deadline. Mamie Gummer is attached to star in writer-director Stacy Sherman’s indie comedic drama Claire’s Cambodia, which Billy Ray is producing. The story revolves around three sisters whose estrangement, resentment and envy of one another is barely dented by the news that their father is terminally ill. Gummer’s recent feature credits include Taking Woodstock, John Carpenter’s The Ward and Twelve Thirty. On TV, she was in the HBO miniseries John Adams and was a series regular on ABC’s Off The Map. Sherman won an Emmy and was Oscar-nominated for the documentary short God Sleeps In Rwanda and co-wrote Lionsgate’s upcoming Katherine Heigl-starrer One For The Money.
